SHOCK ABSORBERS

PERFORMANCE SHOCK ABSORBERS

Designed and engineered in Australia. Massive 60mm body with a 36mm high-flow performance piston and heavy duty multi-disc valving. Nitrogen gas over semi-synthetic oil to reduce fade at high temperatures. 18mm hard chromed piston rod for strength along with a high temperature, multi-lip viton seal. Supplied with a complete fitting kit including rubber bushes.

ADJUSTABLE BYPASS SHOCK ABSORBERS

Adjustable internal bypass provides 20+ stages of velocity sensitive tuning of damping control. Dial in the front and rear adjustments as and when required to suit the accessories or cargo loads, terrain, conditions and personal comfort preferences.

Manufactured from high endurance chromium-vanadium alloy material, phosphate treated and powder coated for maximum corrosion resistance. Lift heights are approximates and conditional on vehicle variants, accessories fitted and loads.

BUMP STOPS

Outback Armour extended bump stops are designed to provide protection for the shock absorbers and coils springs in the event of sudden and substantial impacts such as holes, logs, rocks or other unseen objects and obstacles. The progressive rate rubber absorbs impacts and slows down the travel on compression to provide a softer landing. The result is a smoother ride, improved cornering and significantly reduced chance of vehicle damage or suspension component damage. Bump stops can be installed with or without the optional steel cups and spacer washers to fine tune the compression rate on your vehicle to suit weight of accessories and personal preferences.

•Soft Duty (Trail) = Stock Vehicle (No Accessories on front of Vehicle)
•Light Duty (Expedition) = Bullbar Fitted
•Heavy Duty (HD) = Bullbar and Winch Fitted

REAR SUSPENSION RATING GUIDE:

•Soft Duty (Trail) = Stock Vehicle (No Accessories on rear of Vehicle)
•Light Duty (Expedition) = Constant Load 150kg
•Heavy Duty (HD) = Constant Load 300kg
•Extra Heavy Duty (XHD) = Constant Load 500kg

FIXED UPPER CONTROL ARMS

Outback Armour fixed position upper control arms are a direct replacement for the original vehicle items and provide significant improvements in the handling and performance of your lifted vehicle.

Outback Armour UCA's are engineered to provide:
•increased clearance of coil spring/tower at droop.
•3 degrees of caster correction for steering geometry for better wheel alignments in lifted vehicles.
•greater clearance for fitment of larger offroad tyres.

Natural rubber bushings offer superior vibration dampening and durability over other commonly used materials such as polyurethane. UCA bolts should be tightened at ride height to allow for maximum directional flex of the bushings.

The fixed position greasable ball joints ensure that geometry is maintained for the life of fitment for durability and reliability in offroad terrain. Outback Armour ball joints are compatible with most original equipment and aftermarket ball joints.

RECOVERY EQUIPMENT

With all the products you need for a safe snatch recovery, especially in competition or OHS demanding applications, the water/tear resistant heavy duty recovery bag has plenty of space to store your existing recovery equipment or to add more items to your kit as you go.

In addition to the compliance rated snatch strap and bow shackles, the kit includes a competition grade recovery blanket, leather lined gloves and an equaliser strap with protective centre sleeve to spread the load between recovery points and/or chassis rails.
